Top 10 Contemporary Christian Songs of Freedom
Oh how sweet it is to be free!
Being ingrained so much into our psyche, freedom is what we all aspire to enjoy and experience – freedom from oppression, freedom from fear, freedom from despair and of course, freedom from what bothers us all, SIN.
The only way that we can break off the chains that restraining us is Jesus Christ who said, “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to see free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the LORD”, Luke 4:18-19. CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY TO FREEDOM!
The truth is in order to be free, we need to be dependent on God. If we keep on doing our own thing independent of God, then we are sure to be in bondage by the enemy.
Whether it is the 4th of July, the Independence Day or just any other day of the year, we should reflect God’s goodness. One of the ways we can do that is by singing songs of praise and worship. So I have here a list of songs of freedom that might interest you:
