10 Christian ‘Thank You’ Songs
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
~ John F. Kennedy
Thank You is perhaps one of the most repeated words we used in our conversations that oftentimes, we don’t fully realize its value. The mouth speaks the words but the heart doesn’t back them up. We just say it because it’s part of protocol and it’s in keeping with proper decorum.
But Thank You should be more than words of politeness. They are the breathing words of a grateful heart. It’s really great to hear a simple sincere ‘Thank You’ from somebody. And it’s equally great to offer sincere gratitude to somebody who’ve done us a favor.
I believe that’s what God wants with all of us – to be grafetul and more than that, to live in gratitude. Why? Because we receive so many things we don’t deserve from Him. We should thank Him for the healing of a disease, for the forgiveness of countless faults, for the provision of our material and physical needs, for the life He’s given, for the Salvation and for all the circumstances when we’ve been on the end of our ropes and then, His deliverance comes quickly just in time.
Endless Grace = Endless Gratitude
And endless and unmerited favor deserves not just verbal appreciation but intentional action. We should live gratefully. So, no matter what comes along in life – a stormy tempest or calm waters – will be able to say “God gives and God takes away”.
Here are some songs, I’ve built a good lists of Christian Songs about gratitude. Whether it’s Thanksgiving Day or not, this is ideal if you want to have list of songs of spontaneous gratitude to God.
